Lifted Golf Carts - All of the lifted carts we sell come with either a 6" or 4" A-Arm lift with front independant suspension.  Depending on the tire & wheel that you choose it may be necessary to add heavy duty leaf springs and a longer brake cable.  Lifted carts can be used to go offroad and give the golf cart a larger look.  You will also see a noticable increase in speed due to the size of the tires and wheels.

Non-Lifted Golf Carts - These standard size carts have factory suspension and have a great ride and feel.  You can choose from stock 8" rims or larger tires if you desire to give your golf cart a low profile look.  

Electric or Gas Golf Carts - Electric golf carts are quiet, can be tuned to go fast, need to charged and require minimal service. Gas golf carts require annual tune-up, are fuel efficient, great for hills, can be tuned to go fast and can haul heavier loads.

Street Legal Golf Carts - The definition of street legal varies by state and by town.  Most areas require a permit to drive a golf cart on the street and typically on roads under 35 MPH.  However, some areas require golf carts to go through a DOT certification and be rebranded with a new serial number which can be used to obtain a golf cart license plate.  Please check your city or county for applicable requirements.  Tidewater Carts is a licensed Street Legal Golf Cart dealer and licensed Car dealer and can assist with required paperwork.
